Tesla Drivers can unlock up to $200 per year in charging rewards, simply by charging their vehicles. Roil is integrating with the DIMO protocol and leveraging DIMO’s user-centric data-sharing architecture to help car owners earn real savings from carbon offset programs typically reserved for large fleets and corporations.

Here’s How It Works:

Roil Network transforms your Tesla charging data into VERRA-certified carbon offsets. These offsets are sold on carbon markets, and the proceeds are distributed back to participating vehicle owners in the form of $DIMO. This means every charge not only powers your Tesla but also—earns you money.

How to Join?

• If your Tesla has been connected to DIMO in the past, go to Roil and connect it now to be eligible for rewards.

Program Details:

• Program payouts occur annually each spring (e.g., 2023 and 2024 credits will be distributed by April 2025).

• Tesla drivers joining by December 31, 2024 will qualify for 2024 rewards. Latecomers will be enrolled in the 2025 cycle.

• Charging events from 2023 are also eligible, and drivers who were connected at that time could qualify for an additional year of rewards.

• Exclusions apply to residents of certain regions (e.g., Washington, California, and Oregon) and apps that already claim offsets.

This program is being piloted in the US with plans to expand to Europe in 2025 and potentially other Electric Vehicles. This partnership is just the beginning, with many more exciting opportunities launching on the DIMO network for drivers to get more out of their vehicle data.
