Build on DIMO - July 2025
July 29, 2025

To kick us off in July, we will be taking you through our latest low code and AI integrations, more Korean vehicle signals, and improvements on the Console - before winding down with some previews into our next set of developer tools.
🧩 DIMO x Activepieces
We’re excited to officially launch on our 2nd low code platform in collaboration with Activepieces. With the help of Activepieces, developers can now interact with the DIMO API for vehicle data while utilizing Activepieces AI-first superpowers! As part of Activepieces’ ultra-popular MCP Bounty Program, DIMO is stoked to work directly with another open-source software while helping the community grow 🚀
Simply follow the steps below to get started:
-
Have a Developer License created via the Console
-
Create a free account on Activepieces, and select from “Flow”, “Agents”, or “MCP” in your dashboard
-
In any of the tools, look up “DIMO” and start building 🎉
There’s a ton of exciting possibilities here, and if you want to learn more, we recommend checking out some of the Activepieces documentation here. Huge shoutout to Yusuf Cirak for building the DIMO Piece!
🛞 More Tire Pressure Signals for Hyundai & Kia
More cars + more vehicle signals = happy DIMO devs. Good news for app developers, as a broader selection of both Hyundai & Kia vehicles are getting tire pressure signals with a recent firmware update. Expect to see these signals rolling out to the following vehicles very soon:
-
Genesis GV60 (JW) (2021–present)
-
Hyundai Ioniq 5 (NE) (2021–present)
-
Kia EV6 (CV) (2021–present)
-
Hyundai Ioniq 6 (CE) (2022–present)
-
Kia EV9 (MV) (2023–present)
-
Hyundai Ioniq 9 (ME) (2025–present)
-
Kia EV3 (SV) (2024–present)
-
Kia EV4 (CT) (2025–present)
-
+ More!
More vehicle brands are scheduled to be decoded in the near future, tell us more if you need a specific vehicle covered 🤝
🚦 Quick Bytes: API Status is Now Live in Console
Outages are the worst, but not knowing the source is even worse! The DIMO API Status page is now live in the DIMO Developer Console – so if you want to stay up to date on the status of all our APIs, you can hit the link in the sidebar, or check things out directly at status.dimo.co.
🎆 What’s Next?
DIMO University
Has this ever happened to YOU!?: You’re beginning to integrate the DIMO tech stack into your application, reading up on our state of the art documentation, when suddenly you realize that you actually hate reading documentation and you would much rather be watching a step-by-step, guided learning path on Youtube.com?
Well struggle no longer: We’re introducing a new developer learning path called “DIMO University”. The goal of these videos is to better educate developers on some of the foundational concepts that are core to the DIMO ecosystem, and provide another mode of learning outside of the standard documentation. In our first video, James & Barrett will be walking you through an intro to DIMO Global Accounts.
Have ideas of some videos or learning paths you’d like for us to produce? Shoot us a note over at developer-support@dimo.org.
Events
We presented DIMO webhooks a couple of months ago, which is simply a trigger on vehicle signals which may be limiting when you’re interested in certain activities such as hard braking or trip started. The DIMO Engineers have made another great stride in building advanced insights onto vehicle signals. Very soon, developers will be able to fetch vehicle events via the Telemetry API. Stay tuned for more updates on Events by subscribing to our newsletter!
