DIMO Mobile v1.15 Now Available

The latest update for DIMO Mobile has been pushed to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for iOS and Android devices.

DIMO Mobile version 1.15 brings a host of new features, design updates, and quality-of-life improvements that we’re excited to share with the DIMO community.

Vehicle Tab Update

In the previous update, the Garage Tab was overhauled with a clearer, map-centric design. That location-based display has now been applied to specific vehicle focus screens as well. Now, when a particular vehicle in your fleet is selected, you’ll have a map view front-and-center showing where your car is currently parked or driving. 

Notification Cards

Never miss an important alert again! DIMO Mobile v1.15 introduces a whole deck’s worth of notification cards that appear on the home screen when relevant. They’ll keep users briefed on vehicle statuses, firmware updates, new features, and much more. Once you’ve read a particular notification card, simply swipe it out of the way to archive the alert. 

Account Tab Cleanup

The Account tab has been completely redesigned, and is reorganized into three clear categories: Support, Community, and Account. Now users can quickly find the utility or settings they need to customize their in-app experience. 

Feedback Submission Form

Got suggestions for how to improve DIMO Mobile? There’s now an easily accessible feedback form embedded right in the Account tab for quickly sharing how you think the user experience could be improved. 

Firmware Beta Testing

If you want a glimpse into the future of DIMO hardware devices, you can now select exactly which firmware you’d like the DIMO Macaron to run on. This will let beta testers try out new features straight from the app.

Macaron Firmware Update Flow

• 0-50% - New firmware being uploaded to device
• 50-90% - Restarting device and installing new firmware
• 90% - Confirming update
• 95% - Device being configured to specific vehicle
• 100% - Complete

Bluetooth UI Improvements

A handful of aesthetic improvements have been made to the bluetooth pairing visualization when connecting to a hardware device. Instructions and connection flow are simplified and users can plainly observe which devices are attempting to pair. 

DriveDIMO is committed to consistent improvement of the DIMO Mobile user experience, and streamlining how drivers monitor their vehicles.
